Uncle John gets his own blog entry...

The girls don't get to see Uncle John as much as we'd like, but once they connected on Friday, he didn't disappoint, and neither did the girls. It took Delaney and Adelyn a few minutes to warm up to him, but they were connected at the hip for the night. John couldn't get over how big the girls have gotten, including their sassiness.

Anyone who knows John knows he not only sings karaoke, but he brings down the house. He found a karaoke site online and he and Delaney put together a great complilation of songs.

Nothing out of the ordinary here. Adelyn has this ability to turn away as soon as the camera shutter clicks. Hopefully I can post some video of the singing soon. Something's wrong with our video files today, but I'll get them up soon...

It is great to see John and the girls. It's still hard to believe all 5 of you boys have grown up to be wonderful young men. Glad Delaney and Adelyn spent quality time with him.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water. When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Adelyn Blair turns 4!

This is Jon. We celebrated Adelyn's 4th birthday party over the course of a few days. Parents party, grandparents party and kids party. She was very spoiled. Can't believe this girl is four! Addy Bear with her new Barbie Bike. Two lovely ladies... Getting ready to dig in... She looks like she's ready to hit the town in her new outfit. A big boost in her piggy bank!
