Hanging out with Grandpa Jeff and Grandma Sharon

After a trip to the eye doc and exploring a bit of Seattle, we of course had to visit Dad and Sharon at "The Park," which of course the girls had been looking forward to all week long.

We didn't get to see Sharon on Mother's Day, so Delaney helped pick out flowers from one of the vendors at Pike Place Market. The purple and yellow arrangement matches Delaney's outfit perfectly.

After dinner, the girls entertained us with their favorite songs, cheers and dances.

Family photo of the girls with Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle John, who was up for a few days for Rob's birthday and to hang out. The girls love John, he was as much entertainment for them as they were for him.

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
