Some mid-December action

This is Jon. Like everyone else, December's calendar is packed with family parties, school events and time with the immediate family. Here's a little glimpse of our December. Delaney's Kittitas Valley Community Choir group, the Allegros, sang at the CWU Music Hall once again. Very fun to see. This was just a couple of weeks after singing in Downtown Ellensburg's Moments to Remember the day after Thanksgiving. She's a busy singer. We headed to Leavenworth for the town's annual Christmas tree lighting festival. It's an incredibly popular event and last weekend's festival was packed. I'm pretty sure all of the I-5 corridor was in attendance. The good thing is it snowed all day and the sledding hill, while beaten down a bunch, provided ample entertainment. An update with a winter flair

It has snowed in Kittitas a few times already, including once before Halloween. Our backyard looks pretty serene one afternoon. Brittany with her foot propped up after surgery. She's been pretty immobile for nearly a month now. To say it's been frustrating is an understatement. Delaney posing after her Thanksgiving presentation at school. Apparently Adelyn found comfort in cousin Madison's arms after a fun and food filled Thanksgiving. I would say this is Brittany and I on Black Friday. It wasn't Friday yet. Not sure why I'm smiling. Adelyn lost her second bottom tooth. Me and the girls before we headed out to get our Christmas tree. With Brittany in a walking boot, she stayed home and trusted my good parenting skills in the snowy woods. Peaking through a meadow to fi
