Go Mariners!

We decided to take a trip to an M's game on Wednesday (Delaney missed a day of school, please don't call CPS on us). It was an afternoon game family deal. As you can tell, the roof was closed as it was cold and pouring rain. Great game though. We were down 4-1 until we rattled off four runs in the bottom of the eighth to win 5-4. The girls didn't care, they were more concerned about getting mustard on their clothes. Adelyn is also in a phase (I guess) of licking the salt off of peanuts and placing them back in the bag. It's...endearing?

 

 


Tons of people leaving the game, very crowded...a great place to run around and rough house!

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
