M's game with Duane

This is Jon. For Duane's birthday, I bought him Mariners tickets to solidify my spot as his favorite son in law. It worked.
We got there pretty early (as you can tell by the 12 people in the stadium) since he was giddier than a school girl. But it gave us a chance to take it all in. Great stadium. The roof was open pre-game, but by the first pitch it was closed since it was nasty outside.

We sat pretty close to the field (again, favorite son in law status...alright, I found 2-for-1 tickets). Doug Fister pitched a gem of a game, but the M's found a way to lose to the Texas Rangers. As I write this, they're working on their sixth straight loss. Great game though. There's something about just watching baseball.

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
