WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!! TWICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it...........well, yes I can. The Advantage Dirt Contractors "Mighty Huggers" picked up their first and second wins of the season with a convincing 6-1 victory followed by a hard fought 3-2 decision.
Things started off slowly, with McClure Construction scoring the first goal, but then Owen caught fire and scored with abandon. The kid was on fire. No one could stop him. I was really happy for the kids. Technically, there's no scoring tallied, but everybody knows who wins (including the kids, they kept on saying, "Coach, we're winning!"). Honestly, I don't discuss winning or losing, but do a lot of high-fivin' and such.

After the game, it was happy kids and celebration. I was given a gatorade bath and carried off the field like they do for all coaches who win the big game. Unfortunately, none of it was caught on camera, but it did happen...honest.

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
