Time for some bull ridin'

Brittany and I pawned the girls off on Blue Grandma and Grandpa for a couple of hours so we could watch the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) at the Yakima SunDome. I cover plenty of high school, college and PRCA rodeo (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) and the PBR is a completely different tour that focuses solely on bull riding, which usually gets all the attention. Brittany and I are rodeo fans, so we've got to have our fix of roping, barrel racing, steer wrestling and other roughstock events in addition to bulls. But we're growing into PBR fans, too, and glad we got to watch.

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
