Flower girl dresses for Melissa's wedding...

My two little girls are so beautiful. This Saturday they will be flower girls in my cousin Melissa's wedding. Last Friday was there final fitting that allowed Brittany's mom, Cathy, to do any last-minute alterations. She's amazing with a string and needle, not to mention a sewing machine. I keep telling her that I took home ec twice in school so I could probably help her out. She reminded me that it was probably because there were girls in those classes. The subject gets changed and Cathy remains our only seamstress in the family.

Like I said, the girls are adorable, huh?

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
