OK, so the girls got a hold of the camera.......

Delaney got a kids camera for her 4th birthday in 2008 and we've never really been able to use or download anything that remotely resembles and image. But the girls have been getting pretty good at capturing a moment. Many are very random, many are blurry. Below are nine photos taken from more than 400 shot in one day, yesterday. Seriously. Adelyn would get a hold of the camera and we'd see random flashes throughout the day. Once we finally got home from visiting Blue Grandpa and Blue Grandma and Logan, Lyndsay and Kaia in Yakima we found the camera lodged under Adelyn in her car seat.

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
