Delaney is stylin' now......

This is Jon. We had been talking about it for quite a while.......maybe it's time to cut Delaney's hair just a little bit to freshen it up. My beautiful, loving wife gave me a woman's perspective in that in order for her hair to stay healthy, you must trim the ends once in a while. Being that this was D-Rae's first haircut ever (if you don't count trimming her bangs every so often), she still had her baby hair. We didn't do anything crazy, in fact many might not be able to tell it's trimmed up, but she loves it.

Excited Delaney. She got right in the chair and was very watchful of what Maggie the stylist was doing.

Like I said, not much difference, but the ends are more stylish and healthy.

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
