Pit stop in Missoula

This is Jon. With such an early start (5:22 a.m. is when we hit the freeway), we decided to stop in Missoula for a pit stop of food and a park just to stretch the legs a bit and get some blood flowing. We found this park while looking for a food joint and the girls had a great time.

I can see it now, "Delaney Rae Excavating".

The slide was surprisingly fast, if you can't tell by Adelyn hanging on the sides with her hair flailing in the wind.

Delaney handled it like a pro, though.

While you can't tell here, both girls were sliding down the big toy pole within a few minutes of learning how to do it themselves. Delaney is telling me and Adelyn how to slide for maximum speed.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water. When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Adelyn Blair turns 4!

This is Jon. We celebrated Adelyn's 4th birthday party over the course of a few days. Parents party, grandparents party and kids party. She was very spoiled. Can't believe this girl is four! Addy Bear with her new Barbie Bike. Two lovely ladies... Getting ready to dig in... She looks like she's ready to hit the town in her new outfit. A big boost in her piggy bank! My two girls lookin' cute. I think she looks adorable in these two pics!
