These woodcarvers take a log/stump/tree and make it into some crazy art. The only thing I can cut with a chain saw is my hand off.

Delaney was very wary of the water. The last time she was at the ocean, I had to pull her out of the water with all my strength because she loved it so much. Not last weekend, she was beyond scared.

Adelyn, however, was enthralled with the ocean.

The girls spent time looking for sand dollars and crabs and whatever they could find on the beach.



It's hard to see, but behind us was a skull and crossbones with a silver tooth (made from aluminum foil) and a red bandana. These people were crazy artistic.

Being the true manly American that I am, you can't go to the beach without jumping in the water. Brittany didn't understand it, Adelyn was perplexed and Delaney cried for my safety. But the point is, I manned up.

Yep, this is how I roll.

If you really manned up you would have thrown off the trousers when the shirt came off. lol!

All joking aside it looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Great pics!

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
