100 year Celebration Street Fair






Ok. So time to catch up on my bloggin'! The Kittitas Community Church held their 100 year celebration a few weeks ago and the girls and I went to the street fair. They had face painting, a bounce house, and a pie eating contest. Delaney had a blast! She got a ladybug on her face and I could not pry her out of the bouncy house! She even tried eating pie, but once the whipped cream hit her nose she decided she didn't want to get dirty, and took it home to share with everyone instead. We really enjoyed ourselves at the fair and met some very nice people. We have decided to start going to the church and have already found it to be a blessing in our lives.

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
