Take a hike!






This is Jon. I took my three girls out to Umptanum Falls on Sunday and they loved it. Brittany and I used to go there when we were dating and we hadn't been there in more than three years. I had Addy Bear in my backpack and D-Rae had "Rosie" in her backpack as you can see. We saw plenty of birds and Delaney chased a squirrel and got more adventerous the closer we got to the falls, which certainly gave dear ol' Dad some heart problems! Both girls loved the water and really enjoyed the nature walk. Mom and Dad were thrilled and our next trip into the wild will be soon!

Wow....what great pictures! The Kittitas Guddat's are lookin' really fine. It's wonderful you all take a day to venture into the wilderness. The kids are really growing up!

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
