Cassandra and Jake got married at the Empress!







My best girlfriend got married in Victoria this past weekend and it was such a wonderful time. She married her sweetie Jake at the Empress Hotel in downtown Victoria. The hotel was elegant and beautiful. The staff puts on a perfect wedding and treats guests very well. It was very impressive what with the 28 untensils set out at lunch alone (jk)! Jon and I got to try the famous Empress tea which was good but we both burned our tongues! Jon and I loved the royal treatment and were very touched to be included in such a posh, private affair. The bride looked gorgeous and the groom very proud. It was full of touching moments and overall a very special day for us, as I am sure for all that were included. We are so happy for them and wish much joy and happiness in the many years that lay ahead.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water. When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Adelyn Blair turns 4!

This is Jon. We celebrated Adelyn's 4th birthday party over the course of a few days. Parents party, grandparents party and kids party. She was very spoiled. Can't believe this girl is four! Addy Bear with her new Barbie Bike. Two lovely ladies... Getting ready to dig in... She looks like she's ready to hit the town in her new outfit. A big boost in her piggy bank!
