The girls are getting so big...

This is Jon. Whether it's cheerleading or moving on up in Girl Scouts, my girls are growing up.
Friday night cheerleaders at the high school football game. Cheer clinic in the afternoon and the big show at halftime.
Bridging ceremony today, celebrating the girls welcoming new girl scouts and earning a promotion in rank. Adelyn went from a Daisy to a Brownie. Delaney went from Brownie to Junior. Here they are reciting the girl scout pledge.
Adelyn looks like she's in a line for a roller coaster at Disneyland. Her friends behind her look like they're waiting for their flu shots. They were in line to walk across the ceremonial bridge to receive their new vests.

This is Jon. We celebrated Adelyn's 4th birthday party over the course of a few days. Parents party, grandparents party and kids party. She was very spoiled. Can't believe this girl is four! When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
