We're on a winning streak!

This is Jon. After winning our second game a week ago, the Mid State Co-op Cougars/Huskies/Wildcats went 2-0 on the day beating Les Schwab and the Thorp Fruit Stand. We only had four of six players on the day, so substitutions were key for the squad, especially for Adelyn who missed both Thursday and Friday of school with a fever. But she was a trooper as she scored the fourth and decisive goal against Les Schwab to come from behind and win, 4-3. In part two, we held a comfortable lead for much of the game in the 5-3 victory over Thorp Fruit. Two more weeks remain for the Mid State Co-op team, which now has a 8-4-1 record on the season.

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
