Guddat Family Reunion

This is Jon. Last Saturday, we had the much-anticipated Guddat Family Reunion, which included plenty of family we hadn't seen in a long time. I was so busy talking with family that I forgot to snap photos, although Jerrod and Megan took photos of the entire family and then of each family that branches off from each of Grandpa and Grandma's five kids, which I can't wait to see.

This photo means a lot to me because the four guys in the background picked up where we last left off as kids. Every time we got together with the Colorado Cousins as kids we were either building something, breaking something, jumping something, running from something or all of the above. The four cousins in the background (from left to right): Jerrod, Jeremy, Josh and Jon. We were building a dam at Flaming Geyser State Park so the kids could play in the water without falling in the current. We had a blast, however, by the time we were done building our structure, the kids were done with the water, so we just stood there admiring our work. We all had roles, too. Josh was the foreman of the group, Jeremy was the torque, Jerrod had the horse power and I like to think of myself as adding the finesse.

Jocelyn, Jerrod, Delaney, Adelyn, Jon and Jeremy.

Brittany and Sanda.

Afterward, we all went to James' house in F-Dub, since none of us had seen it. Great place. He had downloaded Inspector Gadget for the kids to watch, but they all ended up playing with toys or reading on the couch with Sanda and him.
