Addy Bear's two-day birthday celebration!

This is Jon. Our precious Adelyn Blair turned two on Sunday. Grandpa JeGu (Guddat) joined us on Saturday (Sharon wasn't feeling 100% to say the least) and the Liedtke's came up on Sunday (I'm not done with those photos yet, it's 12:30 a.m. right now). The girls gave him a tour of the garden, Addy Bear opened her gifts (D-Rae even got a "school book" as she calls it from Grandma Sharon), we went out to lunch and capped things off with a trip to the park.

Content, precious, adorable Adelyn. You'll probably notice a few pics in this post and more with her sunglasses on or perched on her head. Those are her favorite right now.

Acrobatic Addy. This girl is really starting to freak us out at times, but I can tell I'm getting used to her antics on big toys and slides since it doesn't faze me as much. However, I'm sure that first, big fall is around the corner.

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
