How Tall are you?






We have a designated door jam with the girls' heights marked on them that we updated the other day. The best part was that the girls wanted to measure Mom and Dad too. So we all took turn being measured on the wall and Delaney got to play Dr. D-Rae which she loves.

The girls love seeing how tall they've gotten. Brittany and I love seeing the marks on the wall.

It's always great to have a special area for the girls to measure their height. I have a question to ask...do I see that crazy "Doo-Dah" hanging up there. Family joke...I thought you only put that out when I was coming :-) :-)

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
