More outdoor pics of my girls

This is Jon. As requested more pics of my girls in the great outdoors.
Delaney is the resident snake expert. She's always enjoyed them, and lately we've found a couple of ways to entertain her. A couple of months ago, she and I went to a lecture given by a CWU professor discussing his expertise. On Saturday, she took Adelyn and Brittany on a snake search hike with that same professor (and about 20 other people, too).
This is who they found. A three foot rattle snake, coiled and chillin'...but very aware of the visitors.
And there is Delaney, right up there to inspect and pet the snake...while the expert professor keeps the onlookers safe. Where's Adelyn? At a safe distance.
We've taken this hike on Christmas Eve the last few years and it looks very different in June.

This is Jon. We celebrated Adelyn's 4th birthday party over the course of a few days. Parents party, grandparents party and kids party. She was very spoiled. Can't believe this girl is four! When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
