Showcasing their singing chops......

Tis the season for choir concerts. Delaney and Adelyn both sing in the Kittitas Valley Children's Choir and of course the school choir at Kittitas Elementary.
Little Adelyn is the youngest in her choir division (and we think the cutest). She had a few nerves on the idea of singing in the full concert hall at CWU, but got up there and belted out her tune. Very cute.
Delaney moved up into the classification that ranges from third to eighth grade. We've been really proud to watch her develop in this group.
Both girls sang together when all choirs (five of them in the county) joined together onstage. Adelyn decided it would be better to stand with her arms crossed. Delaney spent much time trying to discipline the girl right next to her. Comical and a tad bit embarrassing as well.

This is Jon. We celebrated Adelyn's 4th birthday party over the course of a few days. Parents party, grandparents party and kids party. She was very spoiled. Can't believe this girl is four! When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
