Merry Christmas!

This is Jon. Merry Christmas! The excitement of the Christmas season has settled a bit and now we're just trying to keep the house from exploding from figuring out where to put everything Santa brought. We're pretty laid back on the gift giving, preferring to make it more of a family time than a gift giving time, but there are still a few new gems in the house. We headed down to Brittany's Uncle Terry and Aunt Cheryl's house a few days ago and Santa always meets us there.

Adelyn earned the title of Rudolph while she and Santa sang "Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer". She got to keep the nose and antlers and wore them in the car on our way home.
Christmas morning with the girls. Those tubes peaking out of their stockings? Cotton candy from Santa. Good call Santa.

This is Jon. We celebrated Adelyn's 4th birthday party over the course of a few days. Parents party, grandparents party and kids party. She was very spoiled. Can't believe this girl is four! When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
