Some mid-December action

This is Jon. Like everyone else, December's calendar is packed with family parties, school events and time with the immediate family. Here's a little glimpse of our December.

Delaney's Kittitas Valley Community Choir group, the Allegros, sang at the CWU Music Hall once again. Very fun to see. This was just a couple of weeks after singing in Downtown Ellensburg's Moments to Remember the day after Thanksgiving. She's a busy singer.

We headed to Leavenworth for the town's annual Christmas tree lighting festival. It's an incredibly popular event and last weekend's festival was packed. I'm pretty sure all of the I-5 corridor was in attendance. The good thing is it snowed all day and the sledding hill, while beaten down a bunch, provided ample entertainment.

The main Christmas tree. I got videos of everything, but like in some recent previous posts, I'm having a difficult time posting videos.

And videos would be great to have with the kids' school Christmas program. No political correctness in KTown as we're singing about Christmas the entire time, not the holidays. Awesome. This background was put together by me, Brittany and a few other parents over the course of a couple of days. Honestly, I just stood on a ladder 20 feet in the air and hung the blue backdrop, Brittany and team did the rest. Actually pretty proud of my wife.

Delaney is in there, behind the dude in the tie. The twins in the front right are in Adelyn's class and they're good friends.
