Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water. Jon's brother Rob's birthday was a few weeks ago and we all got together at Jon's parents' house to celebrate. Jon's brother John and his friend Alexandra were in town from California so we got to visit with them too. Delaney got to help Grandma Sharon make chocolate cupcakes for the party. She also had a ball with Misty, Rob's girlfriend who gave her and her sister curtsy lessons and taught her how to play jacks. We had great fun visiting with everyone. Of course it always makes us want to move to the westside after these visits so we can be closer to Jon's family!
