Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water. On the 24th of April Jon and I flew over to Oakland to visit our brothers John and Logan. Logan was just finishing up motorcycle technician school and we wanted to see it before he came back home. We decided to take in Alcatraz while we were there. Logan and his girlfriend Lyndsey, and Jon and I all spent the afternoon there on Sunday. It was pretty fascinating and eerie at the same time. The whole place practically is crumbling and it is now a national park which is a refuge for many different species of rare birds. It was cool to see solitary confinement and the places where they dropped grenades during a huge prison riot where the prisoners took over. It was a neat experience and a great viewpoint to see San Francisco.
