Our day at the park






Jon took a couple of days off this week and we enjoyed some family time outside with the girls. We went to the park in Ellensburg and found out that we have a couple of fearless girls when it comes to climbing on the big toys. They had a blast and Adelyn kept up with her sister like a champ considering those little legs aren't as long and limber as Delaney's quite yet. They were so entertaining to watch we can't to take them again soon.

Wow...the girls must have been tired after all the jumping, climbing and sliding they did. It's great that in the middle of winter, you had a nice day to go to the park!

Looks like tons of fun, I wish we had some sun and nicer weather over here so we could get out and enjoy it!! We're going stir-crazy!! It's always fun to have Daddy time!!

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
