Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water. On our way home, we got stopped on the pass for the roadwork blasting. Took the opportunity to snap a few pics of this beauty. Adelyn with my hat, a rain coat, pajamas, ten...
It was Jon's birthday on the 19th and the girls wanted to make sure it was a special day for Daddy. We got him football cupcakes, and made his favorite Rootbeer floats! Delaney also helped pick out a new dapper hat for Daddy to wear to work to keep warm. The girls liked to wear it too. It was a big hit! Jon felt that he was spoiled pretty good and that meant that us girls did a job well done.
