The cousins came for a surprise visit!









The cousins came for a surprise visit to Washington last weekend and got to play together and had lots of fun. They tried out Addy's new birthday toys and Delaney's power wheels Jeep. The toy that was most sought after though was Delaney's new Dirt Devil vacuum. All 4 kids wanted to play with it at once! It was sure great to see them and we are very glad they stopped by to visit. On their way back the even bigger surprise was that they brought Uncle Jerrod with them! Jon was very excited and happy to his brother. We can't to see them all again real soon!

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
