Early June highlights.........

This is Jon. June has been busy for us already, highlighted by the end of school for the girls.
Adelyn has a routine at night. The last handful of months she shares one of her stuffed animals with me and Brittany each night and then sporadically wears a hat of mine. I don't mind. I think it's funny.
End of spring concert for the Kittitas Community Children's Choir. Delaney moves up the the 3rd through 8th grade level next fall. Adelyn will join the chorus as well next fall.
We headed to Sisters, Ore., for the 73rd annual Sisters Rodeo. It's a bit of a drive - about 4.5 hours - but if it's a road trip with my Brittany, then I'm all good. The trip is awesome. Views of Rainier, Adams, Hood, Jefferson and the Three Sisters. Tons of agriculture as well. This is Mt. Adams just outside of Toppenish.
Me and Brittany at the Sisters Rodeo. It was hot. I would say mid-80s. I liked it, but it was probably a bit much for Brittany, but she was a trooper.
My new favorite photo of me and my girl.
Last week of school! Of course that means kids find it difficult to focus and teachers are counting down the days. Every year the Kittitas Parent Group helps fund the arrival of a rock wall. Yes, even though the parent group is one step short of socialism, they still do good things now and then. This is Delaney waiting her turn.
I didn't get a photo of her at the top (I have it on video that won't load), she made it. She's a good climber.
I never take lunch at work, but if I do, it's usually to spend time with my girls. I had lunch with Delaney in the grass one afternoon at school. Best lunch of the week by far.
Adelyn taking her turn on the wall. She's a good climber too.
My little graduate!
Proud sister!
Adelyn and Mrs. O. Great teacher for both of the girls. Moving on to first grade now!
Delaney and Mrs. Taylor. She shared many exciting cheers with Delaney with her math successes. By far her best year in math.
Me and my kindergarten graduate!
Summertime means sleepovers and we waited one whole day after school ended for that to start. The girls wanted a tent. I built that tent, but in order to watch the movie, they couldn't have a chair in the way, blocking their view. So I devised a support structure of the ceiling fan, heavy duty tape and a chip clip to create a tent without support.
