What have we been doing the last few months?

This is Jon. I haven't blogged in a while, but here is a rundown of the last couple of months in reverse order. Delaney the morning of western day at school. To be honest, this is actually a normal everyday get-up for her. Same with her sister. They're commonly wearing their hats and boots on a daily basis.DRae and Mommy making green cupcakes from scratch for a St. Patrick's Day event for Girl Scouts. Delaney reading the recipe from Mommy's new Kindle. Putting the concoction in the oven. Adelyn's St. Patty's Day glasses. Brittany's new hair style...that she kept for four days. C'mon! This is how Adelyn rolls on long trips. She makes sure her stuffed animal "Jon Christopher" (no joke, that's his name) is strapped in. Cousin Kaia (on the left) and her birthday party. Yes, Adelyn is wearing two flowers in her hair. Kaia going nuts on her cupcake. Cute sisters. They get a hold of the camera quite often. Me and my girl on my birthday. My new shirt my wife got me for my birthday. My two best birthday gifts. My cute live-in chef. Chillin' with cousin Kaia.

Adelyn Blair turns 4!

This is Jon. We celebrated Adelyn's 4th birthday party over the course of a few days. Parents party, grandparents party and kids party. She was very spoiled. Can't believe this girl is four! When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
