This is what happens when I'm in charge...

This is Jon. I'm on vacation this week. It's been great to give Brittany some much deserved down time and be able to hang out with the girls. Some might question my parenting, but one person who won't is my four year old, as Adelyn constructed a pile of pillows and blankets (she called it her "jump pile")to soften the blow of diving off chairs and the couch. Every jump includes the word geronimo, which she pronounces, "GERBONIBO!!!!!!" Very cute and fun. She's a little bit crazy. She also just fell off the bed while sleeping (at 10:30 this evening) and within 10 seconds was back in bed snoozing again. The pictures of GERBONIBO below speak for themselves...

This is Jon. We celebrated Adelyn's 4th birthday party over the course of a few days. Parents party, grandparents party and kids party. She was very spoiled. Can't believe this girl is four! When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
