Yabba Dabba Doo!








Halloween this year featured the Guddat family as the lovable Flintstones of Bedrock. We had Fred, Wilma, Pebbles, and of course our pet Dino! This was the first year that Addy got to trick or treat and that Delaney really got into so it was a really great night. We love to dress up as a family, and my Mom (Brittany's) made all the costumes. By the end of the night we were already asking my Mom what we were going to be next year! She does a great job, and Jon even wore his to a work costume party and won. All the people there wanted to put her to work. The weather wasn't too bad and the girls made a pretty decent haul and I am sure that Delaney is determined to rot her teeth out by Thanksgiving.

Great Costumes Cathy...I'm so happy "Purple Grandma" knows how to sew...something Nana (me) Jon's Mom didn't take an interest in during Home Economics! Fred, Wilma, Pebbles and Dino look like they had lots of fun!

When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
