October recap

This is Jon. We had plenty of fun in October as seen below.......
Dad and Sharon came over for Delaney's birthday and we went to the fall festival at a nursery. Delaney made a friend.

For our 10th anniversary, Brittany made a slideshow with our wedding and honeymoon photos, some trinkets from our honeymoon in Jamaica and JAMAICAN JERK CHICKEN for dinner. I capitalized dinner since that's all I ate morning, noon and night in Jamaica. She didn't use jerk seasoning either. She said it took her two days to prepare the jerk to bake into the chicken. That's love y'all.

The day after, all three girls were pretty tired. Delaney is hopped up on sugar, Brittany is watching a movie and Adelyn somehow fell asleep on Brittany's nightstand.

This is Jon. We celebrated Adelyn's 4th birthday party over the course of a few days. Parents party, grandparents party and kids party. She was very spoiled. Can't believe this girl is four! When Mommy's sick and Daddy's in charge...

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
