My girls are human fish!

This is Jon. It's been a while since we've put anything on the blog, but I've got a few recent posts up now. The girls just wrapped up their yearly swimming lessons and they love the water. If it's the pool, nearby lakes or the Yakima River, they're in it and prefer it over pretty much anything else this summer.
Adelyn and Delaney in the deep end of the pool. For Delaney, she's not too freaked out by the 12-foot depth, but Adelyn wouldn't even let you go if you had her in the four foot area at the beginning of August. Now with supervision, she's chillin' in the deep end with her big sis.
Delaney owns the water. With age and a few more practices, she's ahead of Adelyn in terms of expertise. Both have really impressed me and Brittany this summer. Very proud parents!

...this happens... Addy is potty training (quite successfully and very quickly I might add) so she's pretty much pantsless 24/7. She doesn't usually wear Brittany's boots, though. That's Addy again, wearing Delaney's wicked witch hat. Don't know where she got it. Delaney and her sunflower she's been growing since the last few days of school. It finally bloomed at the beginning of this week...and Delaney's wearing Mommy's boots now.

Adelyn Blair turns 4!

This is Jon. We celebrated Adelyn's 4th birthday party over the course of a few days. Parents party, grandparents party and kids party. She was very spoiled. Can't believe this girl is four! Addy Bear with her new Barbie Bike. Two lovely ladies... Getting ready to dig in... She looks like she's ready to hit the town in her new outfit. A big boost in her piggy bank! Quarterly update from KTown

Spring sports with Delaney playing volleyball for the second straight year. This year was noticeably different as her league included fifth through eighth graders. Adelyn with her second year of softball. Again, a noticeably different level of competition. Delaney will eat anything, just like me. Food is fun, especially when you try new things. We're at the Crab Pot along the Seattle waterfront and we got a seafeast of salmon, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage and corn. It was deee-lish. Dee Dee and her shrimp...right before she ripped its head off to grub down. Kittitas day at the Mariners game. 80 of our closest friends from KTown in attendance. Took Adelyn and Brittany to Saltwater State Park. Adelyn loved the shells, crabs and the clams underneath the surface squirting water.
